Knowledge Transfer in Information Systems Engineering Licentiate Thesis

چکیده
Patterns have been proposed as a means to preserve and manage knowledge. There area number of types of patterns dealing with diverse problems. These problems emergeduring the different phases of the information systems lifecycle. This paper presents acommon definition of the pattern concept. Thereafter the patterns are classified withrespect to what they deal with and when they are used in the information systemslifecycle. Finally, some directions for the future incorporation of patterns intoinformation systems engineering methods are outlined.
